Gloss Varnish for Outer Surface of Drink and Aerosol Cans

AX-10 Series

It is acrylic type gloss varnish developed for outer surface of drink and aerosol cans. It offers excellent gloss and wettability that enables superior printing effects. Further, its surface is very hard and thus excels in scratch resistant.

  • Tin plates, TFS plates, and new materials such as TNS plates.


■　Usages

  • Reducer solvent：　Use No.200 Solvent.

  • Coating viscosity：　Generally it can be used as is, however, adjust the viscosity according to coating conditions (coating speed, solution temperature).

  • Standard film thickness: 70±10mg/100cm2.

  • Baking condition: 180℃×10mins.


■　Handling Instructions

  • Stir well prior to use and make sure to not mix it with other paints.

  • It is unsuitable as first coat gloss varnish.

  • In winters, when solution temperature is low (below 10℃), heat it to 10℃ or more, and stir well before using. Painting through paint heater is recommended.

  • It does not contain the fluorescent pigments.
