Penciling matte varnish can be written on by a pencil but penciling varnish cannot. Prints printed by these two can be made to show a picture or characters when scratched by a pencil.

■ Printing Method
The thickness of ink film and the ratio at which the two varnishes are mixed should be such that difference between the varnishes is not obvious in the print.
Make sure to conduct tests prior to use to determine the mixing ratio as it varies according to the paper and amount of ink.
