No.6 UV L Carton OP Varnish GW

"No.6 UV L Carton OP Varnish GW" is an all-purpose UV curing OP varnish that is applicable to paperboard, treated aluminum-laminated paper, etc. and can be used for offset printing with dampening water.

  • Excels in drying property.
  • It offers excellent emulsification resistance and is highly suitable for offset printing.
  • Low-odor type.
  • Excels in lightfastness and other resistances such as rub and solvent.
  • Excellent trapping property and yellowing resistance.
  • Minimal misting.


■　Properties

  • Tack Value ： 3.6 〜 3.8 （Ink-O-Meter, 400rpm, Water temperature 38℃,1minute value ）
    Flow Value（D60） ： 38.0　〜　45.0mm （Spread-O-Meter, Room temperature 25℃, spread diameter after 1 minute）
    Slide Angle (Printed material) ： 25°or so (Slide angle varies depending on drying condition, stock, and ink used.)


■　Handling Instructions

  • Foil stamping is possible in certain conditions; however, select the foil and conduct suitability tests. (THIS REQUIRES SPECIAL ATTENTION).

  • The quality can deteriorate due to the cohesion of constituents of the product when stored for long period, therefore, store in a cool and dark place (below 25℃). (THIS REQUIRES SPECIAL ATTENTION).

  • Certain kinds of paper and glue may adhere, but overlap width is basically required.

  • It cannot be used as a UV-OP varnish for oil-based inks.

  • Slip property varies depending on conditions like paper quality, curing, and humidity. Use the data given above for reference purpose only.

  • Pay attention that it cures when left under sunlight or when there is a fluorescent lamp near ink fountain.
