”UV L Gloss OP Varnish M”, a UV curing OP varnish, is used to add gloss and rub resistance to UV ink printed materials. Applicable not only to letterpress, but also to general offset printings, it is one of the best gloss coat varnishes. It is particularly suited for wet trapping.

■ Features
|
- It has the lowest viscosity among the UV-OP varnishes used for offset lithographic printing, and this enables high gloss.
- Suitable for wet trapping. Loses very little gloss when applied over ink.
- It excels in curing property and is low odor little yellowing varnish.
- It excels in resistance to light, rub, solvents, and other factors.

■ Handling Instructions
|
- It can be used for resin letterpress as well as offset printing. However, pay attention to the amount of dampening water when used for offset printing.
- Foil stamping is possible in certain conditions; however, select the foil and conduct suitability tests. (THIS REQUIRES SPECIAL ATTENTION).
- The quality can deteriorate due to the cohesion of constituents of the product when stored for long period, therefore, store in a cool and dark place (below 25℃). (THIS REQUIRES SPECIAL ATTENTION).
- Certain kinds of paper and glue may adhere, but overlap width is basically required.
- It cannot be used as a UV-OP varnish for oil-based inks.
- Pay attention that it cures when left under sunlight or when there is a fluorescent lamp near ink fountain.
